Bushey Rose Garden was completely restored Hertsmere Borough council in 2010 thanks to funding from the Heritage Lottery Fund and Big Lottery Fund.

The garden offers visitors a unique opportunity to experience Bushey’s Victorian past as many of its features have been preserved as was originally intended.  Through original owner Hubert Von Herkomer’s inception and renowned Landscape Architect’s Thomas Mawson’s design, the garden offers a place of peace and calm in perfect contrast to the adjoined high street. Along with its structure a lot of the original planting remains.
